Be a Steward of the Word - Sharing our Treasure
Weekly Offerings
“Be cheerful with every gift you make, and when you pay your tithes, do it gladly.” Sirach 35:9
Tithing is an expression of God’s priority in our lives. All that we have is a gift from Him, and we are called to return a portion of our resources to support His work. Sharing of your “treasure” should be intentional, planned and proportionate, and made after prayerful consideration and reflection. Making a financial commitment to the Church will ensure the future of God’s Church and Divine Child’s ability to bring more people to the Lord. Thank you in advance for supporting our parish.
We encourage you to use our online giving platform, Faith Direct, or parish offertory envelopes to share your weekly offerings, rather than loose cash. Doing so is a helpful reminder of our stewardship commitments, encourages consistency in giving, and allows the parish to keep an accounting of contributions for tax and other purposes.
